Born in Izmir in 1994, she began her piano studies in the year 2000. In 2008, she was accepted to the high school section of Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory, starting her professional piano education with Assoc. Prof. Aslı Tuncay. Throughout her education, she gave numerous solo and chamber music concerts. She participated in the 4th Istanbul Pera Piano Festival, working with Prof. Zöhrab Adıgüzelzade, Prof. Metin Ülkü, and Emre Şen as part of the festival. She attended masterclasses by many pianists such as Mischa Dacic, Ekaterina Tarnopolkja, Emre Elivar, Joseph Balog, Dalia Rubinstein, Gülnara Aziz, Claudia Schellenberger.
In 2013, she participated in the “Austrian Master Course” held in Salzburg, Austria. During this course, she studied with Prof. Gottlieb Wallisch and performed a solo concert. In 2014, she won the auditions for the « Young Soloists » organized by the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra, earning the right to be a soloist at the « Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day » concert. In this concert, she performed the 3rd movement of F. Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto op.25 no.1. In May 2015, she performed as a soloist with the Dokuz Eylül University Academic Orchestra.
In 2016, she graduated from Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Aslı Tuncay. In 2019, she attended the piano masterclass of Iris Şentürker organized by “İstanbul Drama Sanat Akademisi”, participating in concert programs in Istanbul. Between 2017 and 2020 academic years, she worked as a master instructor at TED İzmir College « Sanat Akademisi » In 2017, she attended master’s program at Dokuz Eylül University, Graduate School of Fine Arts, continuing her studies with Assoc. Prof. Aslı Tuncay, and graduated in 2021.
During the spring semester of 2021-2022, she started working as a part-time instructor at Yaşar University Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Music, and continues her work at the same institution. In 2022, she participated in Enrico Arias’s Piano-Voice workshop. Between 2022 and 2023, she gave Piano-Voice recitals and still continues her studies in this field. In 2022, with the project « From Past to Present: Special Concert of Turkish Composers » she gave a Piano-Voice concert with tenor Deren Eladağ and soprano Ayşe Şenoğul. In September 2023, she performed in a concert organized within the extent of “Agora Classical Music Concerts”.
Her flute career has been enriched by masterclasses and solo performances with dozens of internationally renowned flutists such as Silvia Careddu, Emmanuel Pahud, Maxence Larrieu, Philippe Bernold and Sophie Cherrier.
During her studies, she graduated with honors with a master’s degree in pedagogy at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, a master’s degree in flute at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and a master’s degree in orchestral flute at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. In addition to working in private and state academies in the field of flute teaching, he has been invited many times as a jury member and artist in international competitions.
Simay Aydın, who is currently invited as a jury member in Nice, has won two consecutive first prizes in chamber music. She has played an important role in the field of culture with her artistic and educational contributions, and her music has transcended borders to provide distance education to many countries around the world.
With her Turkish and Belgian identity, she continues to contribute to her music career in 4 different music academies.
Born in 1987 in Izmir, Ayşe Tuğçe Gökdemir earned the opportunity to study at the Izmir 9 Eylül University State Conservatory Flute Department in 2002, completing both her high school and university education. Subsequently, she became a student of Prof. Sibel Kumru Pensel and was admitted to the Nice Conservatory.
Having achieved awards in numerous national and international competitions, A. Tuğçe Gökdemir has served as a soloist in concerts with the Cannes Orchestra under the direction of Philippe Bender and the Flute D’Azur Orchestra.
Having obtained master’s degrees in music from Yaşar University and Art Proficiency from 9 Eylül University, Ayşe Tuğçe Gökdemir is not only a jury member at the International Flutissimo Competition held annually in Nice but has also been invited as a guest artist and participated in masterclass sessions.
She continues her work as a part-time flute instructor at Yaşar University’s Music Department.
